The New Website

Dear readers,

The time has come! After a lot of heart and countless hours, I can finally present my new homepage to you.

This site is not just a business card, but my digital gallery. I designed it to reflect exactly what matters most to me in my photography: light, stillness and the vastness of alpine nature.

A very special thank you goes to my dear, creative daughter Nadine Kares (-Brantschen). She built this homepage with a great deal of heart and great skill.

The design began with my new logo, in which my favourite mountain and its glacier appear in the letter "B".

This subtle, "hidden" detail balances modern elegance with a deeply personal connection to my subject. To complete the brand, she developed a colour palette of deep moss green and glowing autumn yellow for the homepage, reflecting the seasonal transition of larch needles. So I believe my new website has become something truly special.

Now I warmly invite you to step through the virtual doors and dive into my world. Here you will find:

1. The quiet language of nature – in galleries

I have divided my work into three main areas, so you can find the moods that speak to you:

• Engadin: Discover the clear lakes, the wide valleys and the unique, magical light that makes this region so special.
• Valais: Experience the majestic peaks, the deep valleys and the rugged beauty of my home.
• Night: Immerse yourself in moments of stillness in which the stars play the leading role. My night photography tells stories of the sky while the world sleeps.

2. Mountain pictures for your walls – my new shop

In my new shop I have put together a fine selection of my best motifs for you. I am convinced that pictures that radiate calm have a positive influence on our homes.

• Wall art (fine art prints): High-quality prints on canvas or other fine materials – perfect for bringing a quiet moment straight onto your wall.
• Calendars: My various calendars for 2026 are already available and will accompany you through the whole year with light-filled landscapes.
• Cards: Beautiful greeting cards, sympathy cards and Christmas cards that often say more than a thousand words.

3. Insights and stories – the new blog

And of course you will find this very blog here, where from now on I will regularly take you along: I share insights into my work, tell the stories behind the pictures and show you the places that move me. Be it the mystical mist at Lake Staz or the golden sunrise on the Belalp – here you can read about everything my camera captures.
