Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data matters to me. This privacy policy tells you what data is collected on my website, how I use it and what rights you have under Swiss law (DSG) and European data protection law (GDPR).

1. Controller

2. Collection and storage of personal data

I process personal data only where this is necessary to provide a functioning website, to fulfil contracts and to handle enquiries.

Data collected automatically when you visit the website:

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • browser and operating system used
  • pages visited

This data is used for statistical purposes and to keep my website running.

3. Legal bases for processing (EU)

Under the GDPR I base the processing of personal data on the following legal grounds:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract): e.g. for orders.
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation): e.g. retention duties.
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest): e.g. website security.
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent): e.g. newsletter, cookies, tracking.

4. Getting in touch

If you contact me by email or through the contact form, the data you send is stored in order to handle your enquiry.

5. Orders in the shop

When you place an order (e.g. calendars, cards) I collect the data needed to process it:

  • first and last name
  • address
  • email address
  • payment information

The data is used solely to fulfil the contract.

6. Payment providers

I use the following providers for payment processing:

  • PayPal: if you choose PayPal, your payment data is transmitted to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg. Details are in PayPal's privacy policy.
  • TWINT: if you choose TWINT, the data needed for payment is transmitted to TWINT AG, Zurich. Details are in TWINT's privacy policy.

Data is shared solely for the purpose of processing payment.

7. Sharing of data

Data is shared only where necessary to fulfil the contract (e.g. with shipping services, payment providers) or where there is a legal obligation. Transfer to third parties in other countries takes place only where an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed or you have consented.

8. Cookies and tracking

My website may use cookies. These serve to make the site user-friendly and secure.

If services such as Google Analytics, Google Fonts or the Meta Pixel are used, the following applies:

  • information about the use of the website is recorded and may be transferred to the USA.
  • you are informed on your first visit by a cookie banner and can give or refuse your consent (opt-in).
  • you can delete or disable cookies in your browser at any time.

9. Data security

I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

10. Retention periods

Personal data is stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.

11. Your rights

Under the Swiss DSG and the GDPR you have the following rights:

  • the right to information about the data stored about you
  • the right to rectification of incorrect data
  • the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”), provided no retention obligation applies
  • the right to restriction of processing
  • the right to data portability (EU only)
  • the right to object to certain processing (e.g. marketing)
  • the right to withdraw consent given

I reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy where necessary. The current version is always published on my website.
