Photography has been with me since 1980 – first analogue, today digital. What began as a counterweight to my job has become my great passion. In the Swiss Alps I discovered my love of landscape photography. There I roam the mountains with my camera and hold on to those moments where light and mood create something special.
About me
I photograph landscapes because they do not speak – and yet say everything. I am drawn to where it falls silent: into the mountains, into the ice, into clear nights. My camera comes along without a goal – only with an open eye. I work with light, space and emotion. What I capture are real moments. Pared back. Unposed. Full of space.
